Playing a sim (including ACC) with a controller is extremely hard, and requires extreme precision. ACC has a bit of a steering assist, which saves you from spins very well, but it penalizes you a bit. Makes your car handle worse. There seems to be plenty of people that are happy with it on a controller, I think the key is in fiddling with the settings maybe. You might not have the same tactile feedback but I have heard a lot of controller users use chase cam as it gives them visual feedback on how the car is behaving which helps make up for the lack of wheel feel. 4.
